The Regional Advanced Air Mobility Surrogate Trials (RAST) Project begins an exciting new journey for the Latrobe City area.
The Regional Advanced air mobility Surrogate Trials (RAST) is research designed to test how drones can be integrated into existing air traffic control systems in Latrobe City.
The RAST research will conduct drone flights from the Latrobe Regional Airport over two weeks in February 2024.

The RAST project is being led by Textron Systems Australia (TSA) in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology and the Collaborative Evaluation & Research Group.
Key Stakeholders from Aviation, Government and Industry have been invited to attend consultation workshops currently being conducted around Latrobe City from the 26th July to the 1st of August.
