Community Engagement

The RAST project aims to consult and inform the community throughout all research activities. The project follows strict risk mitigation processes and obtains approval from governing regulatory bodies.

Community engagement workshops and events are held to share information and seek feedback on the introduction of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) technologies in Latrobe City.

The website provides information and allows questions and feedback. The research team gains flight testing approvals from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and ethical approval from relevant institutions.

The community engagement approach progresses from sharing information to collaboration and co-creation with stakeholders involved in AAM technology development.
